  • Who can see my personal information?

    Other users of the App can see your username if you write a review. We encourage users to create an anonymous username to avoid being personally identified.

    No one except Sacki App can see your profile information. Your personal information is only used for access to the App and to reset your password.

  • Is my privacy protected?

    Sacki App does not share personally identifiable information. Given the sensitive nature of the data being provided, we are committed to protecting user identity.   • What content do you share with merchants?

    Sacki App aggregates demographic data and the ratings and reviews from all app users and shares this with merchants so merchants can see how consumers are experiencing their establishments.

    Consumers that write reviews are responsible for the content they share with the public and with merchants. Merchants and other users will see your reviews and your username.

  • How does Sacki App help me as a consumer?

    The App allows consumers to write reviews and to rate merchants based on their experience. Sacki App aggregates the data and shares it with users of the App so that you can see merchant scores from people most like you. These scores and reviews can help you to make more informed decisions about welcoming merchants.

  • What are the factors used to match me?

    Sacki App matches users based on any of the identity factors shared with the App. Sacki prioritizes certain demographic factors that research shows are more important in everyday interactions.

  • Can I write a review about a past experience?

    We encourage users to share information about recent experiences so that the data is relevant to other users. The goal is to share information about safe spaces for users like you so if you think the review is relevant and recent feel free to share it.

  • Should I change my review if the merchant contacts me?

    Merchants have an opportunity to respond to your review on the Sacki App. Sacki App does not share your personal information with merchants and we discourage you from doing so.

    Sometimes interactions are a result of honest misunderstandings. If you believe that you misinterpreted the interaction you can certainly edit your review. The goal of the app is to educate consumers and merchants so that we can all have welcoming and respectful experiences. You should not feel pressured to modify your review if you believe it was an accurate depiction of the experience. Please contact Sacki App if you believe that a merchant is unduly pressuring you to revise your content.
